During this 60-minute workshop for all ages, Yaëlle Azoulay will teach you the basics of Quebec jigging by exploring various rhythms and foot movements. Comfortable shoes required (leather soles suggested).
Yaëlle Azoulay has been active in the dance world for over 25 years. A performer/choreographer in contemporary jigging, she has taught in numerous contexts around the world. For 18 years, she has also been perfecting the art of calling, the skill of leading people in dance during traditional gatherings. In 2019, she founded Club Gigus with her partner Véronique Papillon-Sauvageau, a school specializing in jigging instruction.
