Since its formation in the fall of 1976, in the Lanaudière region, La Bottine Souriante has proudly embodied the vitality and richness of Quebec’s musical heritage. To mark 50 years of performing, the group presents an anniversary show bringing together the highlights of its impressive repertoire, from past hits to more recent compositions.
On stage, eleven exceptional artists deliver a performance that is both lively and captivating, combining voices, traditional instruments, a brass section, and foot percussion. An incomparable musical and stage chemistry that showcases a unique sonic blend, born from the Celtic and Acadian roots inherent to the group.
Throughout its career, La Bottine Souriante has recorded thirteen original albums, including four certified Gold and three certified Platinum, totaling more than 750,000 albums sold in Quebec, and has won a dozen major awards, such as Juno, Félix, and BBC Awards.
